Training Data Export Tool
The Training Data Export Tool allows you to export all manually added training entries within a specific date range. This feature is useful for districts that want to review their yearly training submissions, verify accuracy, and ensure each entry is displaying correctly.
How to Use the Training Data Export Tool
Follow the steps below to run your export.
1. Go to Training and Select Edit Training
From the main menu, click Training, then select Edit Training from the submenu.
2. Click the Prepare Export Button
In the upper right corner, click Prepare Export to open the export options.
3. Choose How You Want to Generate the Data
You can export your training entries using one of two filters:
Option A — Date Published
This refers to the date the training entry was manually entered into the system, not the date the training actually occurred.
Example:
Training happened on January 5
You entered it into the system on February 10
If you select Date Published, the February 10 date is what the system uses when filtering.
Use this option when you need to confirm when staff actually entered trainings during the year.
Option B — Date Completed
This refers to the actual date the training was completed, regardless of when it was entered into the system.
Example:
Training was completed on August 20
You entered it on September 3
If you select Date Completed, the system uses the August 20 completion date.
Use this option when you need to see all trainings conducted within a specific calendar or school year.
4. Select the Date Range
The date range you choose should match the filter selected above.
Examples:
If you choose Date Published:
Select the date range for when the entries were entered.
Example:
To find all trainings entered in September, select Sept 1–30.
If you choose Date Completed:
Select the date range for when the trainings were actually completed.
Example:
To export all trainings done this school year, select July 1–June 30.
Make sure the correct date range is selected before running the report to avoid missing entries.
5. Generate the Report
After selecting your filter and date range, click to generate the export. Wait for the report to process, and your file will be available to download.
