How to create a desktop shortcut - Mac & Windows
Step 1: Open the Training Website
Visit the login page of the training website using your preferred internet browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Step 2: Resize the Browser Window
To create a shortcut, you’ll need to see both the browser and your desktop on the same screen:
- Move your mouse to the lower-right corner or lower-left corner of the browser window.
- Click and drag the edge of the browser inward to resize the window.
Step 3: Locate the Website Icon
In the browser’s address bar (where the URL is displayed), find the small icon on the left-hand side of the address (this may look like a padlock or a globe).
Step 4: Drag the Icon to the Desktop
- Left-click the icon and hold down the mouse button.
- Drag the icon to your desktop.
- Release the mouse button.
This action creates a shortcut to the website on your desktop.
